Troutdale is a beautiful city with a desirable location and unique history.
A little about Dave Ripma. I work as a patent attorney for a high tech company in Vancouver, Washington. My education includes a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a law degree from Georgetown University in Washington DC. After working elsewhere for several years, I moved to Troutdale in 1989 and fell in love with our town and its people. With a keen interest in history, and because I bought an old house, I quickly got involved with the Troutdale Historical Society. I found I loved volunteering and working with great people, which then led to more volunteering with the City of Troutdale on numerous committees, Including Planning, Budget, and Parks. During my first term on the Troutdale Planning Commission I decided to take the next step of running for Troutdale City Council. I’ve been elected to serve as one of your councilors for over 20 years and gained invaluable knowledge and experience. It’s important for your mayor to know and understand our past and current events, challenges, and opportunities ahead; I am uniquely qualified and want to help our wonderful Troutdale be the best it can be: safe, green, vibrant, and retain its small-town charm. Please, vote, and for Troutdale Mayor, vote Dave Ripma. Thanks, Dave I have served on the Troutdale City Council, off and on, for 25 years. I also volunteered on the Troutdale Planning Commission and as a member of the Troutdale Parks Advisory Committee.
